Avatar 2

Director James Cameron wants the next installment of his ‘Avatar’ franchise to explore Pandora’s oceans.Revealing this to the media recently, Cameron said that his fictional planet’s aquatic life was equally rich and “diverse and crazy and imaginative” as its famously colourful land-based equivalent. According to him, many of the scenes would actually require underwater filming. “I think what we should do there  because we’ll have to have characters that are in and under the water is that we should actually capture them underwater,” Cameron explained. “It’s not the same as going diving, but I like to keep my diving, which I do for pleasure, separate from work.”

“The challenge will be on the next “Avatar” picture… to do what we did before at half the price and in half the time,” he explained. “Again, that’s an impossible goal, we won’t accomplish that, but if we can reduce by 25 percent in both categories, we’ll have really accomplished something.”
Cameron, who is on a publicity drive for Avatar's DVD release, said the sequel would take less time to shoot.

"The challenge on the next Avatar is to do what we did before at half the price and in half the time. Again, that's an impossible goal, we won't accomplish that, but if we can reduce by 25% in both categories, we'll have really accomplished something." Cameron also told the LA Times that his team was working on an extra six minutes of Avatar footage which would be added to the film for its August re-release at cinemas, something he said was due to overwhelming demand.

Robinho Returnd in Manchester City's squad for new season

Brazilstriker Robinho has been included in Manchester City's 25-man squad list for the new season despite his long-held desire to remain at Santos where he has been on loan. Roberto Mancini confirmed Robinho's inclusion at a news conference on Friday. "He came back yesterday, he is very tired but he is on the list," said City's manager. Robinho, who cost a British transfer record fee of 32.5 million pounds ($50.91 million) when he joined from Real Madrid in September 2008, has had an unhappy time at Eastlands and returned to former club Santos on loan in January.
Wales striker Craig Bellamy, who cost City 12 million pounds when he joined from West Ham United in January 2009, was not included in the squad list. Bellamy has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Fulham who are managed by his former City boss Mark Hughes. Mancini also said he expected a deal for Mario Balotelli to be completed "today or tomorrow", with the Inter Milan striker on his way to Manchester for a medical on Friday.

Plot Summary: When he arrives on the rural Louisiana farm of Louis Sweetzer, the Reverend Cotton Marcus expects to perform just another routine "exorcism" on a disturbed religious fanatic. An earnest fundamentalist, Sweetzer has contacted the charismatic preacher as a last resort, certain his teenage daughter Nell is possessed by a demon who must be exorcized before their terrifying ordeal ends in unimaginable tragedy.

Buckling under the weight of his conscience after years of parting desperate believers with their money, Cotton and his crew plan to film a confessionary documentary of this, his last exorcism. But upon arriving at the already blood drenched family farm, it is soon clear that nothing could have prepared him for the true evil he encounters there. Now, too late to turn back, Reverend Marcus' own beliefs are shaken to the core when he and his crew must find a way to save Nell – and themselves – before it is too late.

About Pennguin Meets the Ice Queen

When director Manfred Reiff first saw the image of a penguin and a beauty queen, he immediately knew he wanted the penguin to find some ice. He ran with that idea, injected a youthful spirit, and crafted a story. The final result was Penguin Meets the Ice Queen. Using the NV24HD allowed Reiff to shoot in a spontaneous and immediate manner. In fact, its compact size made this shoot the first one he’s ever done with a camera that fits in his pocket.

STUMPY

Stumpy, the official mascot for the 2011 Cricket World Cup in South Asia.

Stumpy  is the official mascot for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He was unveiled at a function in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Friday, 2 April 2010. He is a ten year old elephant who is very young, enthusiastic and is determined. Cricket-followers based all over the world were able to participate in a contest to name the mascot.  The official name of the mascot was released on Monday, 2 August, 2010 after an online competition conducted by the International Cricket Council in July, 2010.

Tournament director Ratnakar Shetty during a press release said,"The idea of our mascot is to crystallise the feelings and action of the sport and the fans in a graphic form that reflects the visceral tone and emotion that Cricket creates in its followers, especially in an event like the CWC."

"It also emphasises the enthusiasm of youth both in general and for Cricket itself, especially on the sub-continent with its massive and dedicated following.
He's stylised to give an instantly recognisable graphic strength so that with exposure his bold lines and strong colouring will instantly create a friendly face for the CWC," tournament director Ratnakar Shetty said in a media release.
